Manchester United look set to be linked with a host of different players in the summer transfer window after securing their return to the Champions League.
The Red Devils were 2-0 winners against Dutch giants Ajax to secure their spot in the Champions League group-stage draw in August.
Griezmann is a player that has been linked with a move to Manchester United over the past couple of months.
The Atletico striker rated his chances of joining Manchester United as “six out of then” earlier this week, before taking to Twitter to urge his followers to ignore the incessant transfer speculation surrounding his future.
Speaking to BT Sport about whether Manchester United would sign Griezmann this summer, former Liverpool striker Owen seemed upbeat about Mourinho’s chances.
“They might get Griezmann and one other [world-class player],” Owen said.
“Last summer, they got Pogba and Ibra. If they get to world-class players, that’s a lot of money to spend.”
Griezmann has only won the Spanish Super Cup during a three-year stay at Atletico Madrid.
