The Daily Mirror is reporting that the 23-year-old midfielder is yet to be offered a new deal by the Gunners despite expecting to have already begun formal talks with the club by now.
The same report states that the situation has prompted uncertainty about the midfielder’s future at The Emirates, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City among the clubs keeping tabs on his situation.
Liverpool are said to be “long-term” admirers of Oxlade-Chamberlain but City and Chelsea are also said to be “keen” on the midfielder.
The story claims that Oxlade-Chamberlain had been told to expect a swift resolution to his contract situation by Arsenal but the Gunners are yet to offer him a new deal.
The midfielder has 12 months to run on his current deal with the north London side, along with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
Oxlade-Chamberlain helped Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-1 and win the FA Cup last month.
