Chelsea are set to hand Antonio Conte a new contract and will look to complete three transfer deals in the summer transfer window, according to reports in the English media.

The Daily Mail is reporting that the Premier League champions are set to hand the Italian coach a new deal, which would see his wages increase from £5m to £9m after a stunning first season in England.

The same article is stating that Chelsea are set to complete a deal to sign former Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Cabellero.

The Blues are in negotiations to sign Juventus defender Alex Sandro but the Serie A champions are holding out for a transfer fee in excess of £50m.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea’s pursuit of Romelu Lukaku has been complicated due to the current situation with Diego Costa.

The Blues boss allegedly informed the 28-year-old that he is surplus to requirements and free to leave over a text message.

Chelsea won the Premier League title in Conte’s first season at Stamford Bridge but lost 2-1 to bitter rivals Arsenal in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
