The Chile international’s future has been a relentless source of speculation this summer after he entered into the final 12 months of his contract at The Emirates.
Both he and Mesut Ozil are yet to commit their futures to the club as the clock ticks down on their current deals.
Now, Swanson has claimed that PSG could still make a late swoop to try and sign Sanchez this summer, although no club is thought to have yet made a bid for the 28-year-old.
Speaking on Sky Sports News on Wednesday morning, Swanson said: “We’re told that PSG remain interested in Alexis Sanchez. He told us a few weeks ago in Russia that he didn’t know whether he’d stay at the club next season.
“Arsenal’s position hasn’t changed – they say that he’s not for sale. The big question remains whether a club will test Arsenal’s resolve with a big-money offer.
“The latest this morning, is that has yet to happen.”
Arsenal will be hoping to keep hold of Sanchez this summer as they look to try and challenge for the Premier League title next season.
The Gunners finished in a disappointing fifth place in the Premier League table last term to leave them in the Europa League next term.
However, Arsene Wenger’s men did end the campaign on a high by beating Chelsea in the FA Cup final back in May.
