The Evening Standard is claiming that the north London side have already tabled an offer of £300,000 a week but Sanchez is holding out for more money.
The same report claims that Sanchez’s future is still not decided, despite Arsene Wenger insisting that the 28-year-old Chilean will stay at the club beyond the summer transfer window.
Sanchez has 12 months left to run on his current contract and Arsenal could force him to stay at the club but could then risk losing him for free next year.
The same story says that Arsenal have made it clear that they do not want to sell Sanchez this summer and that they “certainly” will not let him join a Premier League rival.
The article credits Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich with an interest in signing Sanchez but it remains to be seen whether any of those clubs have actually made concrete attempts to sign the player.
Sanchez is due to report back for Arsenal duty after his summer holiday on 30 July.
