Antonio Conte led Chelsea to the Premier League title in his first season in charge at Stamford Bridge after the west London club finished seven points clear of runners-up Tottenham Hotspur.
However, the Blues missed out on a chance to win the double after the English champions lost 2-1 to bitter rivals Arsenal in the FA Cup final at Wembley back in May.
Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey scored either side of Diego Costa’s strike to secure the north London club’s third FA Cup crown in the past four seasons under Arsene Wenger.
However, Chelsea star Kante has warned the Gunners that the defending champions have recovered from their Wembley setback ahead of the Community Shield next month.
“The FA Cup final is finished now,” Kante told the club’s website.
“Arsenal played well, better than us and they deserved the victory. We have to take this game [in China] seriously because it will help us prepare well for the Community Shield, the first game of the season.”
The Blues signed Kante in a £30m deal from former Premier League champions Leicester City in last summer’s transfer window.
Kante was named the PFA player of the year after the defensive midfielder helped Chelsea to win the title in his first season at Stamford Bridge.
