The Reds have been heavily linked with a move to bring the 22-year-old midfielder to Anfield this summer as Jurgen Klopp prepares for his second full season in charge at the club.
Keita has emerged as one of the players to have regularly been touted as a target for the Reds in recent days as Klopp readies his team for a return to the Champions League next season.
Now, Sky Sports News reporter Sheth has revealed that Liverpool are “expected” to make a fresh bid to try and sign the Guinea international this week.
Speaking on Sky Sports News on Tuesday, Sheth said: “Liverpool are getting busier and they are still after RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita.
“There’s an expectation that they will make another bid for the player in the coming week.”
Liverpool finished fourth in the Premier League last season and will be hoping to mount a serious title challenge next term as they look to compete on four fronts.
The Reds have signed two players so far this summer – striker Dominic Solanke from Chelsea and winger Mohamed Salah from Roma.
