The Belgian striker joined the Red Devils as their second signing of the summer last month as Jose Mourinho moved quickly to bolster his attacking options at Old Trafford.
Lukaku is now gearing up for his first season at Old Trafford and is likely to find himself under the spotlight as he bids to help Manchester United challenge on four fronts next term.
The 24-year-old will be aiming to help Manchester United challenge for the Premier League title, while also mounting a run in the Champions League.
Giggs feels that Lukaku will end up proving to be a good signing for Manchester United, but he admits that there are certain things the striker will have to work on.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Giggs said: “Romelu Lukaku will score goals, there’s no doubt about that.
“He’s still got to work on his first touch but he has already been scoring plenty at West Brom and Everton and will get more chances at Old Trafford.
“What he won’t have experienced is the pressure of being a Manchester United forward. He wouldn’t have felt that before and you can’t get away with the odd mediocre performance.
“There were too many home games last season where we didn’t take our chances but it’s not just down to Lukaku, the rest of the team need to be contributing as well.”
Manchester United sealed their return to the Champions League next season after the Red Devils beat Ajax in the Europa League final back in May.
