Perry Groves is tipping Tottenham to finish outside of the top four in the Premier League next season.

Spurs were Chelsea’s closest challengers for the Premier League title last term as they pushed the Blues all the way in the 2016-17 season.

However, the Lilywhites ended up falling short as they finished second in the table and Antonio Conte’s men lifted the trophy in the Italian’s first season at the club.

Tottenham are going to have to deal with playing all of their home games at Wembley next season as the north London club expand White Hart Lane in time for the 2018-19 campaign.

And former Arsenal star Groves believes that the Lilywhites are likely to come up short in the race for Champions League qualification.

Groves told bwin: “Because of Wembley, I think Spurs will be the ones who suffer and drop out of the top four.”

Tottenham are the only Premier League side not to have signed any new players so far this summer.

The Lilywhites will also be competing in the Champions League next season as they look to challenge for silverware on four fronts.
