Paul Pogba has urged his Manchester United to bounce back from the disappointment of their draw at Stoke City when the Red Devils host Basel in their Champions League opener at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

The France international was unable to help Manchester United to maintain a 100 per cent record in the Premier League following a 2-2 draw with the Potters at the bet365 Stadium.

Pogba had the chance to score a late winner at Stoke but the versatile midfielder skied his effort over the crossbar as Jose Mourinho’s side were forced to settle for a point.

The 24-year-old scored in Manchester United’s victories over West Ham United and Swansea City before the Red Devils eased to a 2-0 win against 2016 champions Leicester City.

The Red Devils will switch their focus to the Champions League on Wednesday night having hoisted themselves back to the top of the Premier League.

Manchester United will host Swiss side Basel in the Champions League their opening group-stage game at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

Pogba posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote:

“We go to the next challenge, c’mon United! @manchesterunited #MUFC”

Pogba moved to Manchester United in an £89m deal from Serie A champions Juventus in the 2016 summer transfer window.
