Inter Milan overcome Udinese to top Serie A

Jose Mourinho’s Inter Milan defeated a stubborn Udinese side at the San Siro to move top of Serie A on Saturday.

Inter took the lead through Stankovic after 22 minutes, but Udinese levelled the scoring five minutes later.

A hard-fought encounter was settled by a 90th minute Wesley Sneijder goal, giving the Milan side all three points and a one point lead at the top of Serie A.

Second-place Sampdoria host Parma this afternoon.
