Inter Milan will hold on to their two-point lead at the summit of Serie A after a comfortable 2-1 victory over Catania at the San Siro on Saturday.

Jose Mourinho’s side were looking to bounce back from midweek disappointment when his side were held to a 2-2 draw against Dynamo Kiev.

Inter stormed to a 2-0 lead in the first half with goals from Muntari and Sneijder.

Despite conceding a late penalty, the Milan side were able to hold on to secure the points and keep their two-point lead at the top of Serie A.
