Chelsea and Manchester City target Alexandre Pato has declared he would only ever consider leaving AC Milan for Barcelona.

The 21-year-old winger has been linked with a switch to both Carlo Ancelotti and Roberto Mancini’s sides in recent months but Pato has now revealed the only club that could tempt him away from the San Siro is Barcelona.

The La Liga champions are believed to have first choice on the former Internacional youngster due to a clause in the deal which saw Zlatan Ibrahimovic join Milan earlier this year.

“I am honoured by City’s interest, but I am a Milan player and I’m happy here,” said Pato, who has netted 43 goals in 94 appearances for Milan.

“If one day I do leave Milan, I’d like to wear the Barcelona jersey. I think I’d only leave Milan for Barcelona.”
