Xavi: Cesc FÃ bregas arrival has made me a better player
Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernández is thrilled to be playing alongside his Spain team-mate at the Camp Nou

Xavi Hernández believes the arrival of Cesc Fà bregas at Barcelona has helped him step up his performances at the Camp Nou.
The former Arsenal captain sealed a much-anticipated return to his boyhood club this summer and has already scored four goals in five league outings for the Catalan giants.
With Andrés Iniesta currently sidelined with a hamstring tear, Fà bregas has started all of Barça’s La Liga games so far this term – and Xavi says he is thrilled to have developed a fruitful partnership with his 24-year-old Spain team-mate.
“I think Cesc makes my football better and feel that we complement each other very well,” said the 31-year-old midfielder.
“If he goes up I stay back and cover for him or vice versa. I am very happy on the pitch and so is he. We have shown that many times this year.”
Pep Guardiola’s men are currently second in La Liga behind Real Betis after a Lionel Messi hat-trick helped them to an emphatic 5-0 win over Atlético Madrid on Saturday.
Real Madrid are in fifth place, a point behind the Catalans following their 6-2 thrashing of Rayo Vallecano.
