Man United’s Rio Ferdinand left out of England squad
England will travel to Montenegro without the experienced duo of Rio Ferdinand and Steven Gerrard

Rio Ferdinand has been left out of the England squad to face Montenegro in the Euro 2012 qualifier on Friday.
The Manchester United defender has been omitted along with Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, who has just made his comeback following a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a groin injury.
England boss Fabio Capello has recalled Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck, who missed last month’s games through injury, and Tottenham’s Kyle Walker after he scored the winner in Sunday’s north London derby against Arsenal.
Bobby Zamora, a scorer on Sunday in Fulham’s 6-0 thrashing of Queens Park Rangers, joins Liverpool’s Andy Carroll among the forwards on Capello’s list.
A point against Montenegro in Podgorica will be enough to secure a place at next summer’s Euro 2012 finals in Poland and Ukraine.
