A question. Is there a striker in Europe in better form than Robin van Persie?

The Tipster reckons not, and so once again the Arsenal hit-man heads yet another edition of top tips. The Champions League is back, and with all four English clubs in action again this midweek there are plenty of opportunities to net some cash.

Robin van Persie to score at any time against Marseille – 20/21

The Dutch hit-man has been The Tipster‘s best friend in recent weeks, with correct predictions in the Sunderland and Chelsea games proving very profitable. He is the in-form forward in Europe this season – and Arsenal will once again be looking to the Dutchman to set them on their way. Considering Van Persie’s stunning recent form, 20/21 represents excellent value here.

Manchester City to beat Villarreal – 4/7

Manchester City will be desperate to keep in touch with Napoli and Bayern Munich in the race for a last-16 spot when they travel to Villareal on Wednesday night. The Spaniards have no points from their first three matches and have had a poor start to their domestic campaign by their standards. With nothing to play for, it’s hard to see them stopping a rampant City. The Tipster is confident the Premier League pace-setters will win well.
Bet365 odds

Manchester United to win both halves against Otelul Galati – 8/11

With five points from their first three games, Sir Alex Ferguson’s men will be looking for a strong performance on Wednesday night against a poor Romanian outfit, who are rock-bottom with no points. United have only suffered one defeat in their last 33 Champions League games at Old Trafford – and don’t expect that to change on Wednesday night. United to win both halves is definitely the value bet here.
Bet365 odds

Chelsea to beat Genk – 1/4

Genk have been in good form domestically since they took a hammering at Stamford Bridge last time out – but Europe appears to be a bridge too far for the Belgian club. No side in the midweek fixtures will be looking for a strong performance more than Chelsea, who will be desperate to put defeats by QPR and Arsenal behind them with a commanding display on Tuesday night.

The long shot: Edin Dzeko to open the scoring against Villarreal – 4/1

Edin Dzeko has enjoyed quite a season so far. The Bosnian has already netted 12 goals for Roberto Mancini’s men, including five in his last three appearances to help City lead the way in the race for the Premier League title. The 25-year-old has been a constant threat in front of goal this term and today’s long-range pile-driver is for to Dzeko open the scoring at El Madrigal on Wednesday.
