Thierry Henry could still bring Arsenal a lot, insists Alex Song
Arsenal midfielder Alex Song is certain that Thierry Henry could give the Gunners a major boost should he join on loan in January

Alex Song is convinced that Thierry Henry would “bring a lot” to Arsenal should Arsène Wenger opt to re-sign the French striker on a short-term deal.
Henry, who currently plies his trade with the New York Red Bulls, has been training with his former club during the MLS off-season and has been heavily linked with a return to the Emirates.
Gunners boss Wenger has recently admitted that re-signing Arsenal’s all-time record goalscorer on loan is a possibility as the north Londoners prepare to cope with the loss of attacking duo Marouane Chamakh and Gervinho to the African Nations Cup in the new year.
And Cameroon midfielder Song is certain the 34-year-old could still make a significant impact at Arsenal despite entering the twilight of his career.
“When I see him training, I am teasing him: ‘You could still play with us, you know?’ But he has never replied and just smiled,” Song told L’Equipe.
“What he achieved during his career is just amazing. He has nothing more to prove in football.
“Today he has the opportunity to give us a help. A player with such stature, such potential. He would bring us a lot.”
