Cesc FÃ bregas aims for Champions League glory with Barcelona
Ex-Arsenal captain Cesc FÃ bregas admits winning the Champions League with Barcelona is his personal priority this season

Cesc FÃ bregas is targeting Champions League success with Barcelona as the midfielder looks to banish memories of Arsenal’s defeat in the final nearly six years ago.
The 24-year-old sealed a return to the Catalan side in the summer, completing a £29m from the Emirates to Camp Nou – and the Spain international has already made an instant impact with 10 goals for the reigning La Liga champions.
And as the former Gunners captain sets his sights on a potential treble haul, he admits the Champions League remains a personal priority after going through the pain of losing in the final to his current employers in 2006.
“In 2012 I wish for a healthy year and winning many titles and having success with Barcelona,” FÃ bregas told El Mundo Deportivo.
“I dream of winning the treble but if I have to choose, in order, I would prefer to win the Champions League and La Liga titles. The most desired title is the Champions League because it is the biggest competition.
“This gives me a special thrill, firstly because I came so close to winning it about five years ago [with Arsenal] and then I believe it is the most valued title amongst the players.
“I learned a lot from that final in Paris. Although we were close to winning, losing in front of Ronaldinho, Eto’o, Puyol meant in the end we felt proud.”
