Our resident betting expert is backing Chelsea to beat Spurs in a thrilling game which is sure to see plenty of goals at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard to score at any time against Tottenham – 7/4

Since joining Chelsea in 2003, Frank Lampard has developed a habit of scoring against Tottenham. The 33-year-old has netted eight times against Spurs over the past decade, making them one of Lampard’s favourite sides to face. The England midfielder should be on penalty duty at Stamford Bridge on Saturday too, so 7/4 for him to net at any time on Saturday lunchtime is excellent value in this one. Bet365 odds

Chelsea to beat Tottenham – 5/6

Tottenham extended their winless streak to four games with Rafael van der Vaart scoring a late equaliser to spare Harry Redknapp’s blushes against Stoke City. The Blues have won three of their last four games at home, and Spurs have not won at Stamford Bridge since 1990. So, Chelsea to continue their dominance in this fixture and secure victory on Saturday is a solid bet at 5/6. Bet365 odds

Over 2.5 goals in Chelsea v Tottenham – 3/4

Tottenham recovered from a slow start to the season to put together an impressive run, and for part of the season, looked like title contenders. But their Achilles’ heel has been a failure to get results against last season’s top four, and Tottenham’s meetings with these sides have produced over 2.5 goals in six of the seven games. The same to happen at Stamford Bridge is a good bet at 3/4. Bet365 odds

Both teams to score in Chelsea v Tottenham – 4/6

Tottenham have scored in 11 of their 14 away games in the league this season. Chelsea, meanwhile, have found the net in every game at Stamford Bridge. The last three fixtures between these two sides have seen both sides score, and the Tipster is confident the same will happen against on Saturday at 4/6. Bet365 odds

The long shot: Cahill to score at any time against Spurs – 8/1

Gary Cahill has been in prolific form for Chelsea of late, scoring twice in the last two games against Leicester and Manchester City. The 26-year-old centre-half netted 13 times in a five-year spell at Bolton Wanderers, and this edition’s long shot is Cahill to make it three goals in three games against Spurs at a very tempting 8/1.
