Steven Gerrard’s hat-trick secured a 3-0 victory over Everton in the Merseyside derby – and now the Tipster is backing the Liverpool skipper to net against Stoke in the FA Cup quarter-final at Anfield on Sunday.

Our resident betting expert is backing the Reds to ease to a comfortable win, while elsewhere is predicting Chelsea to reach the last four with a narrow victory over Leicester City at Stamford Bridge.

Gerrard to score at any time against Stoke – 13/8

Gerrard’s spectacular hat-trick helped Liverpool to a 3-0 victory over Everton in the 217th Merseyside derby at Anfield on Monday. And the Reds skipper will be desperate to book his side’s return to Wembley after their Carling Cup final victory over Cardiff City in February. So, 13/8 for Gerrard to score at any time looks like excellent value in this one.

Liverpool to beat Stoke by two goals or more – 5/4

The Reds have scored at least two goals in each round of the FA Cup this season, including a 6-1 thrashing of Brighton and Hove Albion in the fifth round. Kenny Dalglish’s side have kept a clean sheet in their last four home games against Tony Pulis’s side, and fresh from a 3-0 demolition of Everton, Liverpool to beat Stoke by two goals or more is a solid bet at 5/4.

Chelsea to beat Leicester by one goal – 5/2

Roberto Di Matteo’s side managed to overturn a first-leg deficit and get past Napoli in the Champions League with the help of Branislav Ivanovic’s extra-time winner on Wednesday. But Chelsea needed a replay to overcome Chris Hughton’s Birmingham side in the previous round after a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge – so 5/2 for the Blues to edge to a narrow one-goal victory over Leicester looks like value here.

Under 2.5 goals in Chelsea v Leicester – 27/20

Chelsea have yet to hit their stride in this season’s FA Cup despite reaching the last eight. The Blues’ cup ties have generally been low scoring in recent times, with five of their last six games ending with under 2.5 goals. And with Fernando Torres still misfiring, the Tipster is backing less than three goals at Stamford Bridge on Sunday at a more-than-tempting 27/20.

The long shot: Chelsea to win from behind against Leicester – 6/1

Chelsea fell behind against Birmingham in the last round after David Murphy’s 21st-minute strike for the visitors. The Blues, who missed a penalty shortly after Murphy’s opener, came back courtesy of Daniel Sturridge’s leveller and eventually progressed after a 2-0 victory in the replay at St Andrew’s. The Tipster expects Chelsea to make a sluggish start in Sunday’s game, so the audacious long-range effort for this edition is for the Blues to come from behind to win at 6/1.
