The 25-year-old has managed 11 Premier League goals and 17 in all competitions this season but the former Ajax forward was hampered by an eight-game ban for racially abusing Manchester United’s Patrice Evra.
But Enrique is confident Suárez, who scored 81 goals in 110 appearances in the Dutch Eriedivisie, can bring an end Liverpool’s woes in front of goal and heaped praise on his team-mate’s attitude.
“They were all amazing goals – the first with his left foot, the second with his right and then the third was unbelievable from so far out,” Enrique told Liverpool’s website.
“We all know Luis is a very special player for us. He’s been really unlucky this season. He’s played like that many times and had many chances and deserved a lot more goals.
“I told him after the game that he just needed a little bit of luck. I know he will score many more goals here in the Premier League.
“Wherever he has been, whether in Uruguay or Holland, if you look at his record he’s scored a lot. I’m sure he will do the same here because he’s a top striker.
“He always plays well, always at 200 per cent. He showed against Norwich exactly what he can do and caused their centre-backs so many problems all the way through the game.”
