Chelsea were put through their paces on a showery Tuesday afternoon at their Cobham training ground ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final showdown with Bayern Munich.

Interim boss Roberto Di Matteo will have been thrilled to see Gary Cahill and David Luiz – who have both been out of action with hamstring injuries – come through the session apparently unscathed.

The Blues will, however, be without the suspended John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Ramires and Raul Meireles for Saturday’s showpiece in Munich.
