Olivier Giroud may still be looking to really make his mark at Arsenal – but The Tipster is backing the Frenchman to score against Schalke on Wednesday as the Champions League returns.

In the other games, our resident betting expert is backing Juan Mata to net in a free scoring game between Shakhtar and Chelsea on Tuesday, and reckons Manchester United will have to come from behind against Braga.

Our man-in-the-know is also backing Premier League champions Manchester City to beat Ajax at the Amsterdam Arena.

Giroud to score at any time v Schalke – 13/10

Giroud is in good form ahead of Arsenal’s clash against Schalke. The 26-year-old has netted two goals in his last three appearances for club and country as he gradually settles in to life in north London. The Tipster is backing the France international to net against the Bundesliga outfit at solid odds of 13/10.
Bet365 odds

Manchester City to beat Ajax – 7/10

City have beaten Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion since their 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund back at the start of October. The Premier League champions have just a point in Group D, so victory in the Netherlands is a must. City to beat Ajax looks like a good bet at 7/10.
Bet365 odds

Mata to score at any time v Shakhtar – 3/1

Mata looks excellent value for a player fresh from two goals and an outstanding performance in a 4-2 victory over Tottenham. He also bagged a brace in the last European outing away at Nordsjaelland, so the Tipster is backing Mata to net at any time against Shakhtar at brilliant odds of 3/1.
Bet365 odds

Both teams to score in Shakhtar v Chelsea – 8/11

Shakhtar are the runaway leaders in the Ukrainian league and are unbeaten in 28 games after winning 26. Meanwhile, Chelsea put four past Nordsjaelland last time out, so the Tipster is backing both teams to score in this one at solid odds of 8/11.
Bet365 odds

The long shot: Man Utd to win from behind v Braga – 11/2

United have fallen behind in seven of their 11 games this season but Sir Alex Ferguson’s side have still managed to recover. The Red Devils did just this in their last group game away at Cluj and just last weekend at Stoke. So the Tipster’s ambitious long shot for this edition is United to win from behind against Braga at 11/2.
