Arsenal transfers: Nicklas Bendtner open to permanent Juventus move
Arsenal transfers: Nicklas Bendtner would be keen to extend his loan stay at Juventus if he can tie down a regular first-team spot
Nicklas Bendtner would be open to the prospect of sealing a permanent move to Juventus following the conclusion of his season-long loan from Arsenal.
The Denmark international, who spent last season on loan to Sunderland, moved to the Serie A outfit on transfer deadline day after being deemed surplus to requirements by Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
The 24-year-old has so far found first-team opportunities limited in Turin and has only made one appearance from the bench for the Italian side.
But Bendtner remains intent on working his way into the first-team and insists he has no regrets about moving to Juventus.
“I do not regret choosing Juventus, it was an easy transition to make and everyone at the club has made me feel welcome,” Bendtner told Tuttosport.
“I am very happy in Turin, it is a wonderful and ambivalent city. It’s my wish to remain here after my loan finishes, but I must first prove myself, and to do that I need to play.”
