Gylfi Sigurdsson: Tottenham will score more goals once we click
Spurs new-boy Gylfi Sigurdsson is sure Tottenham will find the net more regularly as the season progresses

Gylfi Sigurdsson believes Tottenham are yet to “click” as a team and is backing Spurs to score more goals as the season unfolds.
Andre Villas-Boas’s men were held to a 1-1 draw in their Europa League group-stage clash at Panathinaikos on Thursday to leave them with two points from their opening two games in Europe.
Spurs were punished for not putting away their chances after dominating large portions of the game in Athens – but Sigurdsson, who joined the north Londoners this summer, is certain that the goals will come as they continue to gel.
“Once we click we will be clinical,” said Sigurdsson. “The signs are all there in our build-up play and the next step, consistent finishing, will be key.
“There have been a lot of changes to the squad in a short period but I look around me and see such quality that the goals we deserve and seek cannot be far away. How can they be?
“As the season progresses and we get more used to one another, the goals have to come and I am determined to play my part in that.”
Tottenham host Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday as Villas-Boas’ side look to make it four top-flight wins in a row.
