Nordsjaelland 0 Chelsea 4: Victor Moses was pleased with his performance after making his European debut for the Blues
Victor Moses was satisfied with his first Champions League appearance as Chelsea secured a commanding victory over Nordsjaelland in Copenhagen on Tuesday – but admitted there is room for improvement.
The 21-year-old, who moved to Chelsea from Wigan Athletic back in August, played 65 minutes as Roberto Di Matteo’s side sealed their first win on the group stage.
Juan Mata put the visitors up before half-time, and a flurry of goals from David Luiz, Mata and Ramires added gloss to the scoreline in a frenetic final 10 minutes.
“I enjoyed it very much, my first Champions League game,” said Moses. “It was different and is something I will have to get used to. It wasn’t my best game but the most important thing was we won.
“We went 1-0 up but they hit the post in the second half, but when we got the second goal they sat back off us and we kept on going, which is what we are good at.
“I’ve enjoyed my time here so far and feel like I’ve settled well, people are looking after me and I just want to keep on working hard.”
Chelsea’s victory leaves the Blues top of Group C after two games.
