QPR owner Tony Fernandes dismisses Mark Hughes speculation
QPR owner Tony Fernandes backs Mark Hughes and claims he is one of the best managers in the Premier League

Tony Fernandes has rubbished speculation suggesting Mark Hughes has one game to save his job as Queens Park Rangers manager.
The Hoops find themselves firmly rooted to the foot of the Premier League table after managing to pick up just three points from their first nine games this season.
Hughes’ side lost 1-0 at Arsenal on Saturday, prompting media reports claiming that the Welshman will face the axe if the R’s do not beat Norwich City at home next weekend.
But Fernandes has once again issued his backing for the under-fire coach, insisting he considers Hughes to be one of the best managers in the English top flight.
“Mark has my backing and the shareholders,” Fernandes said. “We need a little luck and no injuries. What’s written in the press is all rubbish.
“I honestly believe we have one of the best managers in the Premier League. And we are in for the long term. Whatever happens. We love QPR.
“I’ll be there at reading so rangers fans ill be available to meet and chat. Trust me on this one. Keep the faith. Stability is the key.”
