Jack Wilshere has been recalled to the England squad to face Sweden in next week’s international friendly.

The 20-year-old Arsenal midfielder, who recently returned to first-team action with the Gunners, has been included in Roy Hodgson’s side after having missed 14 months due to knee and ankle injuries.

Uncapped duo Leon Osman and Steven Caulker have also been included in the squad, while Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster also makes the cut.

Liverpool youngsters Raheem Sterling and Jonjo Shelvey have also been given the nod by Hodgson.

Reds skipper Steven Gerrard is set to win his 100th international cap after being included in the squad, but Ashley Cole, who is also on 99, misses out due to injury.
