Chelsea transfers: Willian ‘working’ for move away from Shakhtar
Chelsea transfers: Willian believes he is close to sealing a move away from Shakhtar Donetsk, with Tottenham also interested
Willian has reiterated his desire to seal a move away from Shakhtar Donetsk, with Chelsea and Tottenham both interested in bringing the attacker to the Premier League.
The 24-year-old was the subject of a bid from Chelsea back in January while Andre Villas-Boas was still in charge at Stamford Bridge, and the Blues are understood to still be keen to land the Brazilian.
Spurs have also been linked with a January swoop for the midfielder since the Portuguese coach took over at White Hart Lane in the summer.
And the player himself believes he is close to sealing a move away from Donbass Arena.
“I’m very happy with my moment at the club and I intend to keep living this moment,” Willian told Globo Esporte.
“As for a possible transfer, there will be offers for sure and I work so that it happens.
“My club and my representatives will decide my future. I’m focused on helping Shakhtar to keep making history in the Champions League.”
