Klaas-Jan Huntelaar insists he remains unaffected by speculation linking him with a move away from Schalke.

The 25-year-old Holland striker has been touted as a possible transfer target for Liverpool in January amid reports of contract issues with the Bundesliga side.

But Huntelaar, who scored for the German side as they defeated Arsenal 2-0 at Emirates Stadium last month, says he does not feel under any extra pressure as a result of the rumours and maintains that his only focus is on helping his team beat the Gunners again.

“I am not under any pressure because of the rumours about my future in the Premier League,” Huntelaar told the Daily Star. “My mission is to score goals and defeat Arsenal.”

Huntelaar has scored three goals in three Champions League appearances so far this term, while netting three strikes in the German league.
