Man United transfers: Red Devils tracking Kevin Strootman, says agent
Man United transfers: Kevin Strootman's agent claims Red Devils have made an enquiry about bringing midfielder to Old Trafford
Manchester United have made an enquiry about bringing Kevin Strootman to Old Trafford, according to the midfielder’s agent.
The 22-year-old central midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from PSV Eindhoven in recent months and has attracted interest from a host of Europe’s top clubs, including AC Milan and United.
It had been suggested that Strootman could leave PSV in the January transfer window – but the player’s agent Chiel Dekker says a summer move to the Premier League now appears to be the most likely outcome.
“All the top clubs in Europe know about Kevin, but a move to England next summer is his first priority and, yes, Manchester United and other big clubs in Europe have been in touch with me,” Dekker told talkSPORT.
Strootman, who has 15 caps for Holland, has also been linked with a potential move to Real Madrid.
