Kaká admits he does not know if he will stay at Real Madrid this January, with LA Galaxy reportedly interested in signing the Brazilian.

The 30-year-old, who moved to the Bernabéu from AC Milan for £56m in 2009, has been struggling to force his way into José Mourinho’s first-team at the La Liga club and has been limited to just nine appearances this term.

Kaká was linked with a move to Arsenal over the summer, but it is understood MLS side LA Galaxy are now keen on tempting the playmaker to the US.

The midfielder admits his current situation is “uncomfortable” and he does not know where his future lies.

“I keep doing my job to stay in Madrid,” Kaká told Spanish newspaper AS. “Then, to see what happens and what the club wants. It’s not a comfortable situation for either the club or me.

“I do not know what will happen. I have a contract until 2015.

“The club called me [in the summer] and we did not find a solution. January? I do not know, I hope to know what the club wants. If they choose a solution, I’m open to talk.”
