Shane Long has rubbished reports linking the West Bromwich Albion forward with a move to Liverpool.

The Republic of Ireland international has been in impressive form, scoring five Premier League goals, including strikes against Chelsea and Manchester City.

With Brendan Rodgers in the market for a striker in the January transfer window, Long has been linked with a potential switch to the Merseyside outfit.

But the 25-year-old played down the speculation ahead of Sunday’s clash against West Ham United at the Hawthorns.

“I’m just concentrating on my football, I’m enjoying playing up front, I love my job,” he told Sky Sports News.

“It’s very enjoyable at the moment and I’ll let the rumours take care of themselves.”
