Paris Saint-Germain are interested in recruiting Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, according the Ligue 1 outfit’s vice-president Sheikh Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.

Mourinho’s future as Madrid manager has been a source of speculation of late, with Los Blancos currently 13 points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona.

Ronaldo has also been liked with an exit from the Bernabeu amid negotiations over a contract extension, with Manchester United linked with a move to resign the forward.

PSG have invested heavily this summer in a bid to become France’s top club, spending over €150m (£122m) on seven players, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

And the Parc des Princes outfit have now revealed their desire to sign Mourinho and Ronaldo in a bid to make an impact in the Champions League.

“Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho are objectives for Paris Saint-Germain, of course,” Al-Thani told Canal Football.

“PSG are one of the best clubs in the world. Ever since day one, our goal has been to win the Champions League.

“We are already one of the best teams in France, and it’s our goal to become one of the best in Europe and the world, too.”
