QPR transfers: Taarabt dreams of Man United move amid Milan interest
QPR transfers: Adel Taarabt admits he dreams of a move to Manchester United amid reports of interest from AC Milan
Adel Taarabt has revealed he would leave Queens Park Rangers to complete a dream move to Manchester United amid reports of interest from AC Milan.
The Morocco international’s form has been a rare positive as the Hoops continue to struggle in the bottom three of the Premier League.
The 23-year-old scored twice in a 2-1 victory over Fulham, taking his tally to four Premier League goals this season but he was unable to prevent QPR losing to Newcastle on Saturday.
“I’d leave London only for Manchester United, the club of my dreams, where there is no number 10,” Taarabt told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“For Mr Ferguson I’d also stay silent on the bench and I would work hard.”
Taarabt has been linked with a move to AC Milan in recent weeks and the playmaker admitted
his interest in joining the seven-time European champions.
“Me to AC Milan? My agent speaks with (AC Milan CEO, Adriano) Galliani, but my future depends on Robinho and Pastore.”
“Milan aren’t going through a glorious period now, and they’re no longer a part of the top clubs, but making it big with the Rossoneri could open the door to huge clubs like Real Madrid or Barcelona.”
Taarabt, who joined QPR from Tottenham in 2010, also ruled out the possibility of moving to Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain.
“Leonardo preferred Pastore and then spoke ill of me. As long as he stay there I won’t ever go to Paris, even if I often hear the president Nasser Al Khelaifi.”
