André Villas-Boas has warned QPR boss Harry Redknapp off making January swoops for Tottenham duo Scott Parker and Michael Dawson.

Former Spurs boss Redknapp is reportedly keen on bringing the defender and the midfielder to Loftus Road to boost the Hoops’ bid for Premier League survival.

But the current Tottenham manager insists neither are for sale and also ruled out the possibility of any loan deals.

“We are not looking to let Parker or Dawson go in January, that’s for sure,” Villas-Boas said.

“It’s hard for me to say what QPR’s plans are but Harry knows these players well, so he will look here.

“It is not something we will consider. A loan deal is not a possibility either.”
