Theo Walcott scored a hat-trick as Arsenal were emphatic 7-3 winners against Newcastle United at The Emirates on Saturday.
Elsewhere, both Manchester clubs picked up victories over Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion, while Wigan Athletic were 3-0 winners against Aston Villa.
