Arsenal transfers: Wojciech Szczesny reaffirms his commitment to Gunners by insisting his future lies in north London
Wojciech Szczesny has reaffirmed his commitment to Arsenal by insisting that cannot see himself playing for any other club.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper has become Arsene Wenger’s first choice between the posts, beating off competition from Lukasz Fabianski and Vito Mannone.
And Poland international Szczesny, who joined the Gunners’ youth set-up back in 2006, insists his future lies at Emirates Stadium.
“Ever since I signed for this club, I’ve become an Arsenal fan,” Szczesny told Arsenal Player.
“It feels like it’s more than just me playing and doing my best on a Saturday afternoon. I feel like I have a much bigger part to play at this club. It means that little bit more to me.
“I don’t think about playing for any other club. I see my future at Arsenal football club.”
Szczesny has made 15 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions this season, keeping five clean sheets.
