Chelsea target Radamel Falcao has refused to rule out a move to Serie A, with AC Milan and Juventus both interested in the Atlético Madrid forward.

The Colombia international has been a sensation for Diego Simeone’s side over the past 18 months, scoring a staggering 56 goals in 66 appearances since joining from Porto in 2011.

The Blues have been heavily linked with a move for the 26-year-old, who cost Atlético over €40 (£33m), but the Champions League winners face stiff competition from Italy.

With Demba Ba completing a £7.5m switch to Stamford Bridge last Friday, AC Milan and Juventus appear to be in pole position to sign the prolific striker in January or in the summer.

And although Falcao refused to quash reports of a possible switch from Spain to Italy, he would not be drawn on which club would be his preferred destination should a move materialise.

“I cannot rule out a future in Italy. Juve or Milan? I have a favourite club, but I prefer not to say,” Falcao told Tuttosport.
