Brendan Rodgers has hinted that Liverpool could bring in one more player this month but admits that he does not have much of a budget to work with following the signing of Daniel Sturridge.

Sturridge, 23, sealed a £12m move to Anfield on Wednesday from Chelsea as Rodgers moved quickly to bolster his attacking options at Anfield.

The Reds are keen on bringing Blackpool winger Thomas Ince back to Merseyside and are understood to have already tabled a £5m offer for the 20-year-old.

But the Northern Irishman admits he does have many more funds available this month following the capture of Sturridge.

“We are not going to have a lot of money to do anything [else] in the window,” Rodgers said.

“We won’t have that in January. There might be another but there is not much more business to be done.”
