Phil Jones believes Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has a “tough decision” to make over who to start up front for the Red Devils.

Robin van Persie has been in stunning form for United since joining from Arsenal in the summer, scoring 22 goals in 28 games.

The Dutchman joined Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck in United’s strikeforce – and defender Jones admits Ferguson’s decision over who to start in attack is difficult one.

“All credit to Robin. He has come in and been unbelievable for us this season,” said Jones.

“He has got lots of goals. But we have got other players who are just as good, as Javier and Wayne proved against Fulham.

“With four strikers firing on all cylinders at the moment the manager has got a tough decision who to play.”
