Federico Macheda says that he would be willing to leave Manchester United on loan once again to secure regular first-team football.

The Italian has been limited to just three appearances for the Red Devils this season and is yet to feature in the Premier League.

Macheda, 21, has spent spells on loan to Sampdoria and Queens Park Rangers in the past and says he would be willing to seal another temporary move away from Old Trafford to gain more experience.

“I had very bad luck with the loans but I think it helped me a lot. I think it helped me to gain experience in general,” said Macheda.

“If I go out again on loan, I’m sure I will do well. I have been away two times already and, if it happens again, I’d look forward to getting playing time because maybe I made some mistakes but now I understand. I will take the chances I will have.”
