Benítez did a ‘great job’ preparing Chelsea for Stoke, says Luiz

David Luiz praised Rafael Benítez’s pre-match preparations after Chelsea ran out 4-0 winners at Stoke City on Saturday.
The Blues benefited from two Jon Walters own goals, before Frank Lampard and Eden Hazard made the points secure for the west Londoners.
Stoke are notoriously difficult to beat at the Britannia Stadium, with the Potters not having lost at home in the league all season until Saturday’s clash.
And Luiz believes the Chelsea interim boss’s pre-game briefings were a crucial factor in the impressive victory, their second straight away win by a four-goal margin.
“Rafa did a great job, he showed us what we needed to do to win this game,” Luiz told ChelseaTV.
“It was unlucky for Jonathan Walters and it was good luck for us that he scored two own-goals to give us the advantage in the game, but both teams had chances to score.”
Luiz added: “It was a great result, a great performance and everybody knows it is difficult to get three points at Stoke.,But it was an intelligent game from us and this is the result.”
Chelsea host Southampton in the Premier League on Wednesday as they look to close the gap on second-placed Manchester City to four points.
