Bobby Zamora believes Queens Park Rangers can nick a result against Manchester United at Loftus Road in their next Premier League outing.

Swansea City ended QPR’s five-game unbeaten run in the English top flight, with a comprehensive 4-1 victory at the Liberty Stadium last weekend.

The Hoops, who are bottom of the table, won away at Chelsea under Harry Redknapp, while also securing credible home draws against defending champions Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Despite losing 3-1 to United at Old Trafford earlier this season, Zamora believes the Hoops can pull off a shock result against the league leaders on 23 February.

“The big games where you have nothing to lose you find yourself more relaxed,” Bobby told QPR’s site.

“In a strange way you can enjoy the game a bit more. Manchester United is one of those games where everyone has written us off and we are not expected to get anything.

“United are a top side and will have a lot of the ball so I am sure they will be attacking.

“It is down to us to keep it tight and nick a goal here or there, if we can, like we did against a lot of the good sides last year.

“I believe we can do it, why not? The situation was like this last year with less games to go so there is no reason why we can’t do it again.”
