Sigurdsson: Tottenham’s Bale can become something ‘amazing’
Tottenham midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson believes Gareth Bale is set to develop into "something amazing" over the next few years

Gylfi Sigurdsson believes Gareth Bale is set to develop into “something amazing” over the next few years and considers the Tottenham sensation to be on a similar level to Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
The Wales international has been in stunning form for the north Londoners this season and fired Spurs to a 3-2 win over West Ham on Monday to help his side move up to third place in the table.
And Sigurdsson, who bundled home Tottenham’s second goal at Upton Park, believes the 23-year-old is well-placed to become one of the best players in the world.
He said: “Probably Cristiano [Ronaldo], [Lionel] Messi and Gareth are up there, they are all outstanding players and Gareth showed it again at the end that he can do something special,” he said.
“I hope he can continue developing over the next few years and do something amazing
“He still has a few years to go to reach his peak because he is still young and you probably hit your peak when you are 27.”
