Philippe Coutinho scored his first Liverpool goal as Brendan Rodgers’ side bounced back from Thursday’s Europa League loss by thrashing Swansea 5-0 at Anfield.
In the FA Cup, Chelsea were comfortable 4-0 winners against Brentford, Manchester City won by an identical scoreline against Leeds United at the Etihad Stadium, and Wigan Athletic secured a 4-1 victory at Huddersfield Town.
