We won’t give up! Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson still eyeing top-four finish
Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson says Brendan Rodgers's men won't give up in the battle to secure a top-four finish this season

Jordan Henderson insists Liverpool will not give up the fight for Champions League football next season, despite trailing fourth-placed Chelsea by 10 points.
Brendan Rodgers’s side can focus on the Premier League after being knocked out of the Europa League by Zenit St Petersburg last week, while Oldham Athletic beat the Reds in the FA Cup fourth round in January.
Liverpool are currently in eighth position and face a battle to finish in the qualifying spots for the Champions League – or Europa League.
But Henderson is confident Liverpool can put a run together in their remaining 11 Premier League games and challenge Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham for the two remaining top-four places.
“We can take a lot out of the last two games,” Henderson told Liverpool’s website.
“They were good performances and good results. Unfortunately we didn’t end up qualifying for the next round of the Europa League but we gave it our best shot.
“We’ve got 11 games left and want to succeed in those games. We’ve done well of late. I think we’ve been playing some good stuff – we’re still improving.
“[To qualify for the Champions League] would be a massive achievement. We’ll give it our best shot. We know it will be difficult but we still believe we can do it.
“The coming games will be a good chance for us to showcase what we want to achieve.”
