Man United transfers: No truth in Erik Lamela reports, says agent
Man United transfers: Erik Lamela's agent plays down reports suggesting midfielder could be set for a switch to Old Trafford

Erik Lamela’s agent has moved to play down reports suggesting the midfielder could be set for a summer switch to Manchester United by insisting that the Red Devils have not made an offer for his client.
Recent speculation had claimed that Sir Alex Ferguson was readying a summer bid for the 20-year-old Argentine, who has been in impressive form this season.
However, his agent Pablo Sabbag has poured cold water on the rumours by revealing that he has not discussed a potential move with the Premier League club despite having contact with the Red Devils.
“No, there is no truth in that at all,” Sabbag told GazzettaGialloRossa.it. “For the moment, there is no official offer from Manchester United.
“Obviously I have a relationship with them [United], but we have never discussed this particular topic. It’s the same with Roma, a club I have a continuous relationship with.
“It’s too soon to be talking about the transfer market.”
Lamela, who joined Roma from River Plate in 2011 for €12m (£10.3m) has one Argentina cap to his name and has scored 11 goals in 20 appearances for the Serie A side this season.
