Man United transfers: Lewandowski ‘holds talks with Red Devils’
Man United transfers: Robert Lewandowski has held discussions with Red Devils over a potential move, claims the striker's agent

Robert Lewandowski has held discussions with Manchester United and Bayern Munich about a potential summer transfer, according to the Poland striker’s agent.
The Borussia Dortmund forward was linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer – and speculation over his future looks set to intensify in the coming months, with his current deal set to expire in 2014.
Now, the 24-year-old’s agent Cezary Kucharski has claimed that he has spoken to both United and Bayern over the possibility of his client joining the clubs.
“Yes, it is true; I have spoken to Bayern and Manchester United,” said Kucharski.
It is understood that Dortmund value the striker, who has netted in impressive 60 goals in 121 Bundesliga appearances, at around £10m.
Kucharski’s comments come after Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge moved to distance the club from speculation linking Lewandowski with a move to the Bundesliga leaders.
“We have no intention of negotiating with Borussia Dortmund over the transfer of Robert Lewandowski,” Rummenigge told Bild on Sunday.
Back in December, Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson rubbished reports that the Red Devils had already agreed a deal to bring Lewandowski to Old Trafford at the end of the season.
“It’s nonsense,” said Ferguson on 30 December. “Absolute nonsense.”
