Ferdinand, Foster & more: Twitter reacts to Bale’s Tottenham heroics
Rio Ferdinand, Joleon Lescott and Ray Parlour all tweet their thoughts after Gareth Bale inspires Spurs to victory at West Ham
Gareth Bale stole the show as his stunning late winner gave Tottenham victory at West Ham at Upton Park.
The Wales international opened the scoring, before Andy Caroll and Joe Cole put the Hammers in front a day after the 20th anniversary of Bobby Moore’s death.
However, Bale’s free-kick resulted in Gylfi Sigurdsson’s leveller before the Wales star scored a superb long-range strike to seal three points.
